Refund & Right of Withdrawal

We want to be upfront about what applies before you purchase. This is our policy for refunds and the right of withdrawal — split by service.

1. 1-1 Mentorship

Right of withdrawal

Under Swedish distance selling law, consumers normally have a 14-day right of withdrawal. For our mentorship, the following applies:

  • When you sign the agreement and the mentorship starts, you expressly consent to the service commencing immediately after payment.
  • You thereby waive your right of withdrawal to the extent the service has already been performed (e.g. session #1 has taken place).
  • If you are a business (signing in the course of business activity with a registration number), consumer protection rules do not apply — we apply the same practice.

Early termination

  • If you cancel early: No refund. The fee is fixed for the entire 3-month period.
  • If the mentor cannot fulfill (illness, force majeure): The period is extended accordingly, or a proportional refund is made by agreement.
  • If the mentor terminates due to the student's breach (repeated absence, failure to complete agreed tasks, three or more occurrences): No refund.

If something is seriously wrong

If you feel the service does not deliver according to the agreement — contact us directly at operations@nexar.se. We nearly always resolve situations in conversation before they become disputes. You also have the right as a consumer to turn to the Swedish National Board for Consumer Disputes (ARN).

2. Academy subscription

Right of withdrawal

A 14-day right of withdrawal applies under Swedish distance selling law for new consumers. If you change your mind within 14 days of purchase:

  • Contact us at operations@nexar.se
  • State your account name and purchase date
  • We refund the full amount within 14 days to the same payment method
  • Note: If during those 14 days you have actively used the material (e.g. completed projects), we may proportionally deduct for the portion used.

Cancellation

  • You can cancel the subscription at any time from your account.
  • The cancellation takes effect at the end of the current period — you retain access to the material until the period ends.
  • No refund is made for the ongoing month upon cancellation (beyond the 14-day withdrawal described above).
  • Auto-renewal can be stopped directly from your account — you do not need to contact us.

If we close your subscription

We may terminate your subscription with immediate effect if you breach the terms (e.g. distributing material, illegal use, abusive behaviour). In such cases no refund is made.

3. Free intro calls and preview lessons

Free calls and free preview lessons in Academy are not subject to refund or withdrawal — they are free to begin with.

4. Price increases

If we raise the price of an ongoing subscription we give at least 30 days notice via email. You may then cancel the subscription before the increase takes effect at no cost.

5. Payment issues

  • If an automatic subscription payment fails, our payment service will retry for 7 days.
  • If the issue is not resolved, the subscription is paused. You have 30 days to update payment details before the account is deregistered.

6. How to request a refund

  1. Email us at operations@nexar.se
  2. Provide your name, email and order reference (if you have it)
  3. Briefly describe why you want a refund
  4. We respond within 2 business days

7. Disputes

If we do not reach agreement, as a consumer you may turn to:

Swedish law applies and disputes are settled in general court with Stockholm District Court as the first instance.
